Yksin vanhempana ry was founded in 1968 by single mothers in Helsinki who wanted a voice, a community, and change. Over 50 years later, the association is a strong and loving support system for over 500 families.
We offer:
- Various kinds of support
- Free or low-cost events and camps
- Volunteer support from peers, Male Buddies, and Grandmas
- Safe spaces to rest, connect, and be yourself
We are here for you and your child. You don’t have to be perfect. No one is. You just have to show up – and we’ll meet you there.
