Activities and support

The Single Parents' Association (Yksin vanhempana ry) is a safe, supportive community that offers practical help, peer support, and friendship to all kinds of single-parent families.

As a single parent you don’t have to be alone

  • Are you a single parent living in Finland – newly arrived, overwhelmed, or exhausted?
  • Parenting alone after divorce, separation, loss, or by choice?
  • Not speaking Finnish (yet)?
  • Wondering how you’ll manage here, alone with your child?

Start here!

Our activities are open to all single-parent families with children under 18. You don’t need to be a member – just come as you are. By becoming a member, you’ll receive additional benefits.

Come meet other families at family cafés, groups, camps, excursions, and events.

In a relaxed and welcoming environment, you can talk with others, get new ideas, and help your child find new friends.
