Peer Support

The Single Parents’ Association’s peer support program provides a friendly, open place where families in similar situations come together. Here you can share life’s ups and downs, find new friends for your children, and get fresh ideas for activities and hobbies.

Check out the groups in English. We’d love to see you there! (Visit an external site. The link opens in a new tab.)

Want to get more involved? You’re welcome to become a peer‑group leader or help out as a supervisor at events, camps or trips – working alongside other volunteers or professional staff.

International Single Parents Group

This is an English speaking group for all kinds of single parent families with an international background. The group’s idea is to enable peer support and belonging to a safe community. Welcome to create friendships, socialize, and find others in the same situation!

KidCare – Tenavatupa

We provide free childcare during activities – like organizational meetings, peer‑support groups, lectures and other events — so you don’t have to worry about costs or logistics.

Also, with our KidCare (Tenavatupa) service you get a little break from everyday life: you can follow your own interests, rest a bit or just enjoy time for yourself. It’s especially meaningful for families who might feel isolated or miss a community.

Everyone’s welcome, regardless of income or situation. You can be active outside the home without needing to find or pay for babysitting. We’ll take care of your kids.
